Not In Season

I've been smiling lately for no reason
It can't be love
Cause loves out of season
And what I mean by this
Is that I'm through
I don't have time
For love to leave me black and blue
Bandage me up and make me better
I turn my back on love
Even tho I'm a go getter
Love will break you down
Love can leave you dry
I'm tired of love
And these are the reasons why
So I may be smiling
I may be wiling
But the truth of the matter is
I talk about it
But do I really know what love is
Time after time
I contemplate
I imaginary debate
These thoughts about a matter
I know not of
This mystery called love
And it ain't fair
To assume that just because I've had a relationship
That I've been there
I'm dying to go and this I can't deny
That the reason why I'm bitter
Is because love has yet to say hi!

Breathing is supposed to be easy as
